These casual and chic jeans put a unique twist on your springtime wardrobe!
Now that I’ve gushed enough about these jeans in my previous blog Nasty Gal Two-Toned, High-Waisted Mom Jeans, it’s time to showcase some ways they can be styled. These pants are so much more versatile than I had imagined. Here are some simple outfits I would wear out this spring…
The Basic T-Shirt
Denim and a t-shirt are such an easy, classic pair. Lately, I’ve been loving this puffy-sleeved floral top from Crave Fame at Macy’s. The shirt is romantic and feminine (I adore a good lace detail), and the muted pink color pairs well with the two-toned blues.
This collared t-shirt from Urban Outfitters is so comfortable and sweet. During transitional seasons like spring, I find it easy to wear simple pieces like this, where the material is knitted and warm, but the shirt is cropped. In this look, I’ve elevated the jeans with a staple black belt, and threw on my go-to bag for going out.
Tank Tops
This gorgeous and simple wrap-around tank from Urban Outfitters pairs great with denim! I love the orange details of the floral motifs contrasted with the two-toned blues. Orange and blue are opposite each other on the color wheel, making them complimentary. Color theory is always something to keep in mind when styling an outfit. I’m a neutrals girl, but really love the occasional pop of color.
A black top with denim is the most renowned pair. I’m absolutely in love with this lace top from Zara! Black always makes me feel classic and polished. The details are so beautiful, the straps are adjustable, it fits like a glove, and it’s a steal at under $20!
Elevated: Blazers and Dress Shirts
Blazers are the easiest way to dress up an otherwise casual outfit. In both of these photos, I’ve just thrown on a very neutral, fitted blazer. I find that the houndstooth pattern brings further dimension to the outfit, while the black provides a more staple, chic look.
Lastly, and one of my top favorite ways to style these pants, is with a flowy dress shirt half-tucked in. The simplicity and breeziness of this outfit looks so put-together, without the effort! To enhance the style, I like to roll up the sleeves. You can pair this outfit with some white sneakers, or dress it up with a heel!
I have a feeling these jeans are going to be most of what I wear this spring. Which denim trends are you loving?
